3rd Offshore Platform of Phases 22-24 Installed
TEHRAN (Shana) – Installation of the third offshore platform of Phases 22-24 project of South Pars gas field has completed.
According to the Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC), the platform belongs to phase 23 of the supergiant gas field in the Persian Gulf and is the second main platform of Phase 22-24 project.
Ali Asghar Sadeghi, the deputy head of the project, said the platform weighs 2,500 tons and was installed by using the HL-5000 barge on Tuesday.
He said the platform would operated with 14.2 mcm/d of gas production capacity and was built at the yard of SADRA company.
